Andreas Bergh is associate professor in Economics at Lund university and fellow at the Research Institute of Industrial Economics in Stockholm.

His research concerns the welfare state, institutions, development, globalization, trust and social norms.

He has published in journals such as European Economic Review, World Development, European Sociological Review and Public Choice. He is the author of 'Sweden and the revival of the capitalist welfare state" (Edward Elgar, 2014).

Champagnen var ett symptom. Politiken är problemet.

Eftersom deras chefer inte gör det, får Migrationsverkets handläggare försvara sig själva i DN:

Arbetsbördan är mycket stor, att avvisa någon mot dennes vilja är inte enkelt, men icke desto mindre är det den uppgift vi har. 

Och eftersom ingen, ej heller de inblandade handläggarna, tycker att det var försvarligt att fira en avvisning med champagne, kanske det nu är dags att rikta kritiken mot politiken och de politiskt ansvariga.
